Swim and dive teams have expenses that go far beyond the pool: from team suits, warmups, and meet fees to travel, equipment, lane rentals, training gear, and end-of-season banquets. Teamfi gives programs a simple and efficient way to raise money digitally with easy sharing, real-time tracking, and no product sales or cash collection, so coaches and team leaders can spend less time managing a fundraiser and more time focused on the season.

Keep your swim and dive fundraiser organized in one place! Teamfi’s grouping feature lets you separate participants by swim, dive, age group, or any custom category while easily tracking each group’s fundraising progress.
What recommendations do you have for fundraising by age group?
All of our products; calendars, crowdfunding, and a-thons are great for all age groups. If you’re doing an a-thon, tailor it to your age group. Instead of full-fledged swimming laps, they could do laps in a smaller pool. Fundraiser participants aged 13 or younger need to have a parent to run their account.
Does Teamfi work for pool-based programs beyond swim?
Yes. Teamfi works well for swim teams, dive teams, combined swim and dive programs, water polo teams, high school teams, club teams, youth programs, and booster clubs. We just wanted to create this page specifically to focus on swim and dive programs.
How will my swim fundraiser be paid out?
Teamfi provides check payout and direct deposit. While both options are processed as soon as we can, direct deposit is the quickest form of payout.
Teamfi only provides fundraisers to programs with a tax ID, so make sure to have that on hand before onboarding.
What are some recent dive and swim team fundraiser examples?
Recent examples with Teamfi include Duneland in Indiana, which raised $13,185 with 43 participants, Zeus in Connecticut, which raised $9,488 with 36 participants, and Del Norte in California, which raised $6,820 with 48 participants. Altogether, these campaigns raised $29,493 with 127 participants, averaging around $230 per athlete.
How long should a swim and dive fundraiser run?
Most swim and dive fundraisers perform best when they run for about two to three weeks. That gives families enough time to reach out to supporters while avoiding taking too long and fundraiser participants losing interest.
