It’s no secret that band and music programs around the country are used to being underfunded. With digital fundraising that’s changing. Music programs around the country are raising more every year. Instead of relying on product sales or constant fundraising events, directors and organizers are turning to simple digital choir, orchestra, band or music fundraisers that make it easier for families, alumni, and supporters to give. The result is more consistent funding without taking time away from rehearsals, performances, or instruction.

"We were very happy with how things are went on our end! We were anticipating less money based on our participation numbers, but we surpassed our original estimation. Very happy with the platform setup too!"

Individual fundraising pages give each member of your music program a clear way to contribute, while all funds raised support shared needs like music, instruments, and performance costs.
Whether you’re running a band, orchestra, or choir fundraiser, accessing funds for instruments, travel, or festival fees is simple. Choose direct deposit or a mailed check once your fundraiser wraps up.
Traditional fundraising can often leave music departments with slim margins and extra work. Teamfi’s digital band fundraising streamlines the process, allowing you to fundraise with zero platform fees and keep more money for your music program.
Does Teamfi digital fundraising work well for band fundraisers and music fundraisers?
Yes! We’ve worked with well over 100 music programs from around the country that have experienced very successful fundraisers. Del Norte Music Boosters in California was one of them and they raised over $14,000. Just one of our many success stories we’ve seen with organized music programs.
I’m a music booster president overseeing a program with choir, orchestra, and band kids. What fundraiser should I run? Should I split the fundraisers up?
We recommend using either Teamfi’s crowdfunding or calendar products and doing it all as one fundraiser. This way, every participant can all be on the same page as far as the goal, and you can stay completely organized with Teamfi's built in grouping, tracking and management tools for fundraisers.
Our program has festival coming up, and we need money for the overnight trip. How quickly can we get funds with a band or music fundraiser?
We generally recommend about 2-3 weeks for our fundraisers including kickoff time, pre-promotion of your fundraiser to your parents, and the fundraiser itself. The good news is we have a quick and easy payout system with either direct deposit or via check. If you’re opting for speed, direct deposit is generally quicker.
Is there any tangible difference between band fundraising and fundraising for an orchestra program for example?
Yes and no. The core part of the fundraising process is exactly the same, but each fundraiser is customizable with your program name, logo, and your mission statement. Putting these in is key and really helps drive donations. If you want the perfect orchestra fundraiser? No problem. Same for band and choir, or a whole music department.
You talk a lot about high school and youth music programs, can I do choir, orchestra, or band fundraising for an adult music group?
Of course! Here’s a list of adult music groups that would benefit from Teamfi digital music fundraisers.
