Fill My Singlet is a brand new fundraising format for wrestling teams, clubs, and youth wrestling organizations in which participants try to get a donation for each of 30 spaces in their singlet. Each donor leaves their name and fills a singlet space. Spaces range from $5–$100 and total to $740 per singlet – raising you more than enough money for tournament entry fees, travel, wrestling gear, and more.

Everything you need to know about running a fill my fundraiser.
Ideal timing for a Fill My Singlet fundraiser depends on your program's calendar. School programs do best in late October or November, right as the wrestling season kicks off and excitement builds around the first matches, or during a strong postseason run when the community is paying attention. Club teams have a different window: right after rosters are set in the fall, before tournament fees and travel costs hit, or in the spring ahead of a national qualifier.
Whatever the season, a 2–4 week window works best — a short, organized campaign often beats a long one.
Book a demo, get your sign-up link, then create your fundraiser and add your roster — Teamfi generates a donation page for each wrestler automatically. A full club with multiple weight classes sets up as fast as a single varsity squad. A few things worth considering:
Wrestling fundraising usually means a car wash, a coupon book, or a restaurant night — all of them work, and all of them ask the same families to show up one more Saturday.
This one is a singlet. Wrestlers watch their shape fill in with their name on it, and so do donors. That lands differently than a raffle ticket, especially for the wrestler who dreads asking.
It also runs alongside the season instead of interrupting it. No mat time sacrificed, no shifts to schedule. Launch it the week the roster is set and it works while your team drills.

Simple, no-cost fundraising designed for organizations of any size.

Optional tips
How do the digital Fill My Singlet donations work — can someone claim more than one space?
Yes. A donor can claim as many spaces as they want, and their name shows on each one they take (if they choose to leave their name). They can also give a custom amount outside the $5–$100 range if they'd rather. Every donation goes straight to your account through Stripe, so there's no cash to collect or checks to deposit — all singlet spaces and custom donations are automatically tracked in real time on your Teamfi fundraiser dashboard.
Can we run a Fill My Singlet alongside our lift-a-thon, calendar, or crowdfunding fundraiser?
You can, though most families give once a season — running two at once often means getting half of each. Many wrestling programs slot a Fill My Singlet into the opposite part of their calendar from other digital options like crowdfunding campaigns or lift-a-thons.
For example, if your program runs a lift-a-thon in the fall during preseason when energy is high and the team is together every day, a Fill My Singlet works well once the competitive season kicks off — or in the weeks leading up to a postseason run or state qualifier, when community support is at its peak and travel costs are about to hit.
When should we run a Fill My Singlet fundraiser?
It depends on which part of the wrestling calendar you're on. School programs do best in late October or November as the season opens and roster excitement is fresh, or during a strong postseason run when the community is locked in and momentum is high. Club programs have a different window — right after teams are set in the fall before tournament fees hit, or in the spring ahead of a national qualifier when travel costs are top of mind.
Whichever calendar you're on, most Fill My Singlet fundraisers find success in just a 2–4 week campaign — leaving your program with funds for new mats, tournament entry fees, travel expenses, or updated gear.
What happens if some of the wrestlers in our team or club don't participate?
No problem at all — nothing breaks. Your program's fundraiser total is just the sum of what each wrestler raises, so there's no threshold to hit and partial participation still works. With wrestling rosters often split across multiple weight classes, grouping participants by weight class or grade level makes it easy to see which groups are moving and where a nudge would help.
One way to boost participation is a simple incentive for funds raised — a team dinner, custom gear, or covered entry fees for top fundraisers. Lowell Wrestling in Michigan even offered custom singlets to every wrestler who filled their calendar — and raised $13,073 in the offseason as a result. Wrestling programs raise real money on Teamfi, and a Fill My Singlet works the same way, with each wrestler sharing their own link.
How do out-of-town family members donate to our Fill My Singlet?
This is the beauty of running a Fill My Singlet with Teamfi — it's all digital! To donate, anyone can tap the participant's link and claim a space from wherever they are. Wrestling program families know this problem well: grandparents, alumni, and relatives can't always make it to a wrestling meet or tournament across the state, but they still want to support the program. Participants share their link by text or social media in one tap, and if your program is using Teamfi's free automated donor outreach feature, the work is done for you.
