Teamfi was born from a simple belief: groups shouldn’t have to give up their hard-earned money just to raise it.
We (Kanon & Zeth) are brothers with software development backgrounds that started building Teamfi in 2022 as a challenge from our Dad, a hall of fame High School Football coach in Michigan.
After 25+ years of fundraising for his football teams and paying 20-25% fees to fundraising companies, our Dad was fed up with losing that much money from his program. So, he posed a question:
“Could you guys build a way for my team to fundraise without having to pay the 20-25% of fundraiser fees?"
So, that’s exactly what we did! Our dad was our first customer, raising nearly $40,000 with his football team with no fees in sight.
Over three years later, Teamfi has helped 1000s of fundraiser organizers (sports teams, student groups, clubs and schools) across the United States run fundraisers and save millions of dollars in fundraising fees.
