How Do I Set My Projected A-Thon Performance?

To set your projected a-thon performance (that will be used for your donation page's pledge collection), just click the "Update Profile" button on your Participant Dashboard in the "Your Account" panel that is highlighted in green and looks like the following: 

After clicking the green "Update Profile" button, you will open the modal to edit your participant profile. This modal will ask you to confirm your first and last name for your account, add a profile photo, and enter your projected a-thon performance.

In the example below, Terry Jones is participating in a Swim-a-thon and setting their projected laps swam during the event.

Once you enter your name, projected performance, and donation page picture and click "Save Profile" you will see your "Your Account" panel updated with the information you just entered on the "Edit Profile" modal.

As you can see in the example above, Terry Jones entered his project laps swap as 25 laps.

This projected value will be used for anyone who views your donation page and wishes to make a pledge to you during your fundraiser. In the example above, anyone who makes a pledge to Terry Jones will pledge per lap. based on his projected laps of 25, that is what will be used as the baseline for the pledge – the pledge-maker will see the projected total when they make the pledge.

In this case, say the pledge-maker wants to donate $3 per lap – they will see before making the pledge that their projected donation will be $75 ($3 x 25 laps = $75 donation). Ultimately, the actual donation will be dependent on the actual a-thon performance, but that is how you update your projected a-thon total and how it impacts your fundraiser.
