Automated SMS Outreach

Automated SMS outreach is entirely optional — organizations or individual participants who prefer not to use it can simply skip adding contacts, and no messages will be sent. For everyone else, here's how it works:

1. Participants add their contacts. After joining a fundraiser, each participant adds the supporters they want to reach (family, friends, past donors) by entering names and phone numbers.
2. Teamfi starts texting automatically. Once the fundraiser is live, Teamfi sends scheduled fundraising messages to every contact on the participant's behalf, with a link to the fundraiser page. No participant follow-up required.
3. Outreach continues throughout the campaign. Messages go out on a set schedule for the duration of the fundraiser, so supporters who miss the first text still hear about the campaign before it ends – supporters who donate do not recieve any additional texts.
   
4. Donors stop getting messages. The moment a contact donates, they're automatically removed from further outreach. Supporters are never asked to give again after they already have.
5. Everyone can always opt out. Every message includes an opt-out link, and unsubscribed contacts are never texted again.
