Can Participants Add Contacts After I Activate My Fundraiser?

Learn more about when your fundraiser participants can add contacts to your fundraiser.

Yes, contacts can be added at any point throughout your fundraiser's lifecycle – both before activation and during your fundraiser. One thing to keep in mine is that any contacts added after the initial launch will join the rest of your fundraiser's contacts on the pre-existing automatic SMS outreach schedule which is as follows: 

  1. Outreach 1: when you activate your fundraiser
  2. Outreach 2: 4 days later (day 4 of your fundraiser)
  3. Outreach 3: 4 days later (day 8)
  4. Outreach 4: 4 days later (day 12)

For example, if a contact is added 2 days after your fundraiser is activated, they will only be eligible to receive outreaches 2, 3, and 4.

Moreover, If a contact donates to your fundraiser, they will not receive any additional outreaches. For example, If Donor A donates following outreach 1, they will not receive outreach 2, 3, or 4. Additionally, a contact can opt out of all Teamfi communications at any time, immediately stopping all Teamfi communcations.
