When you see the purple verified badge next to an organization's name on Teamfi (on a donation page, a fundraiser receipt, or otherwise), it means the organization has been reviewed and confirmed as a legitimate, federally registered tax-exempt charitable organization.

When Teamfi verifies an organization, we confirm to the best of our ability that the organization running the fundraiser exists and details match IRS records confirming active 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status

Verification takes place when a fundraiser is created and reflects the organization's standing at that point in time. Teamfi does not continuously monitor organizations for ongoing changes to their tax-exempt status.

If you have questions or concerns about a verified organization, reach out to us anytime at support@teamfi.works.

The Teamfi verification badge confirms an organization's registered tax-exempt status and identity at the time of verification only. Teamfi does not guarantee that any donation is eligible for a tax deduction. Please consult a qualified tax advisor regarding your personal eligibility.
